According to PANews, industry sources said both sides reached agreement on the ethics provision after months of negotiations, and the updated bill text is expected to be released within the next few days.

The CLARITY bill is designed to establish a clearer market structure for digital assets in the United States. The new ethics provision would restrict senior public officials, including the president, vice president, and members of Congress, from profiting from digital assets while in office.
