According to PANews, citing SoSoValue data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $623 million last week.

By product, BlackRock's IBIT led with $596 million in net inflows, marking the largest weekly inflow. IBIT's cumulative net inflows reached $66.1 billion.

ARK 21Shares' ARKB posted net inflows of $53.0917 million last week, bringing its cumulative net inflows to $1.71 billion.

Meanwhile, Grayscale's GBTC saw net outflows of $62.2783 million. GBTC's cumulative net outflows totaled $26.35 billion.

Total net assets of spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $106.61 billion, representing 6.67% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization.

Galaxy Digital: Seven Democratic U.S. Senators Are Key Variables for the CLARITY Act

Galaxy Digital said that seven Democratic senators on the U.S. Senate Banking Committee could be key swing votes in advancing the CLARITY Act, a digital asset market structure bill.

According to PANews, the bill is scheduled for committee review on Thursday, and if it secures a majority, it will move to a full Senate vote. Passage in the Senate would require at least 60 votes.

Galaxy categorized Ruben Gallego and Angela Alsobrooks as lawmakers supportive of the bill's basic framework, while Mark Warner, Catherine Cortez Masto, Andy Kim, and Raphael Warnock were classified as conditional supporters. Lisa Blunt Rochester was identified as a potential deciding vote.

The CLARITY Act was first introduced in July 2025, but its progress stalled this January after Coinbase withdrew its support.

South Korea's National Tax Service Building $2.2 Million AI System to Track Crypto Transactions and Crack Down on Tax Evasion

South Korea's National Tax Service is building an artificial intelligence system worth about $2.2 million to track cryptocurrency transactions and crack down on tax evasion, according to PANews, citing Cryptopolitan.

The system is targeted for completion by the end of 2026 and will integrate exchange transaction records with blockchain data to identify suspected money laundering, unreported gifts, and offshore tax evasion. The monitoring scope will also expand to non-custodial wallets.

The agency is coordinating implementation details with South Korea's five major exchanges, including Upbit and Bithumb, and final tax guidelines are expected by the end of 2026.

Previously, the South Korean government decided to impose a 22% tax rate on virtual asset income starting Jan. 1, 2027. The tax will apply to annual crypto gains exceeding about $1,800.

Large cryptocurrency investor Garrett Jin deposited 577,896 ETH to Binance over four days. On-chain analysis estimates the position incurred a loss of about $1.3 billion.

According to PANews, citing Lookonchain monitoring, Garrett Jin, known as the representative of the "1011 insider whale," deposited his remaining 225,627 ETH, worth about $528.19 million, into Binance.

Over the past four days, he deposited his entire ETH holdings of 577,896 ETH, worth about $1.35 billion, into Binance. Lookonchain said most of the ETH had been acquired eight months ago by converting BTC when ETH was priced at $4,591.

U.S. Spot Ethereum ETFs See $70.49 Million in Net Inflows Last Week

Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded net inflows of $70.49 million last week, with BlackRock's Ethereum ETF ETHA leading with $100 million in inflows.

According to Odaily, citing SoSoValue data, U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs posted total net inflows of $70.49 million last week, covering the period from May 4 to May 8, U.S. Eastern Time.

BlackRock's Ethereum ETF ETHA has accumulated $12 billion in net inflows. Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETH recorded net inflows of $6.3257 million during the week.

In contrast, Fidelity's FETH saw net outflows of $32.1563 million. Spot Ethereum ETFs currently hold total net assets of $13.73 billion, equal to 4.94% of Ethereum's market capitalization, while cumulative net inflows stand at $12.09 billion.

French Listed Company Capital B Raises 15.2 Million Euros to Expand Bitcoin Treasury Strategy

According to PANews, French listed company Capital B has completed a 15.2 million euro fundraising round to accelerate its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Global institutional investors and strategic investors including Adam Back and TOBAM participated in the financing. Capital B plans to use the funds to expand its Bitcoin treasury strategy.

Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust Posts $193.6 Million in Net Inflows in First Month After Listing

Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) recorded cumulative net inflows of $193.6 million in its first month after listing, without a single day of net outflows.

According to Odaily, citing SoSoValue data, MSBT recorded net assets of $239.6 million from its April 8 listing through May 7. While the broader U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF market experienced repeated large outflows, the fund maintained a streak of 17 trading days with either net inflows or no outflows.

The fund charges a management fee of 0.14%, among the lowest for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs. Amy Oldenburg, Morgan Stanley's head of digital assets, said initial capital mainly came from clients' voluntary purchases, while the adviser channel has not yet been fully activated.

U.S. Spot Solana ETFs See $39.23 Million in Net Inflows Last Week

According to PANews, citing SoSoValue data, spot Solana (SOL) ETFs in the U.S. recorded net inflows of $39.23 million during the trading week of May 4 to May 8, U.S. Eastern Time.

The product with the largest weekly inflow was Bitwise's BSOL, which attracted $36.3915 million. BSOL's cumulative net inflows reached $862 million.

Fidelity's FSOL also posted net inflows of $2.8399 million during the same period, bringing cumulative net inflows to $161 million.

As of the report, spot SOL ETFs had total net assets of $987 million, accounting for 1.82% of Solana's total market capitalization. Cumulative net inflows stood at $1.06 billion.

U.S. Spot XRP ETFs See $34.21 Million in Net Inflows Last Week

According to SoSoValue data, spot XRP ETFs recorded net inflows of $34.21 million last week, covering May 4 to May 8, U.S. Eastern Time.

PANews reported that the product with the largest weekly inflow was Canary's XRPC, which attracted $13.5393 million. XRPC's cumulative net inflows reached $438 million.

Bitwise's XRP ETF also posted net inflows of $12.3621 million during the same period. Its cumulative net inflows totaled $434 million.

Currently, spot XRP ETFs hold total net assets of $1.12 billion, representing 1.26% of XRP's total market capitalization. Cumulative net inflows stand at $1.32 billion.

Binance to List MEGA/U, TON/U, and TON/USD1 Spot Trading Pairs on May 12

Binance will list the MEGA/U, TON/U, and TON/USD1 spot trading pairs and launch trading bot services for them at 5:00 p.m. Korea time on May 12, according to Odaily.

Binance will offer zero maker fees on the MEGA/U and TON/U spot and margin trading pairs for eligible users. The promotion will begin at 5:00 p.m. Korea time on May 12 and remain in effect until further notice.
